What are Fractional PMO Services?
IT consulting services like Project Management or Business Analysis can be engaged for a fraction of the usual cost.
Typically we provide Fractional Project Management Office style services, where you can purchase a percentage of a resource time upfront, usually annually or quarterly, and consume these hours on an "on demand" basis.
So, in the old days, if you needed IT Project Management services, you'd typically have to hire a PM on a day rate contract and it would cost say $1400 per day for the full duration of the engagement, which may be six (6) to twelve (12) months. Alternatively, you'd need to go through the cost of recruiting a full time resource, for a relatively short-term project.
Parsec Pacific now enables our clients to 'pre-purchase' PMO hours when lower capacity requirements are sufficient for the work. For example a PM may be need just 50% or 25% capacity. Discounts are available for these pre-purchased hours making the commitment more manageable, cost effective and beneficial to both parties.
